Through our online project management system, you have access to detailed job information and a calendar to track daily construction activities. Regular updates from Baden and your Project Manager will also ensure top-notch service.

For on-site construction matters, you’ll be in direct contact with Baden and your Site Manager. Prior to construction, you will meet with trades and suppliers to finalise selections and layout designs, like your kitchen and electrical plans. Renee will be your go-to for all inquiries about selections. Throughout the construction, our online project management system will be your main communication hub, ensuring all messages are consolidated in one place.

We take pride in our longstanding partnerships with top-tier trade professionals and suppliers, cultivated over the past decade. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship and excellence is reflected in these relationships.

However, we understand that our clients may have unique preferences or established connections with certain tradespeople or suppliers. We gladly offer the flexibility for clients to engage one or two of their preferred professionals while collaborating with us on their project.

To ensure a seamless integration of your chosen trades or suppliers into the construction process, we kindly request that you inform us early in the pre-construction phase. Additionally, each tradesperson or supplier must meet the necessary licensing, insurance, and adherence to Lancaster Homes Safety Policy.

The timeframe for constructing your home is assessed on an individual basis. The building contract will specify the construction period, and you can track the schedule online. Typically, a standard single-story home of approximately 280 square meters may take a minimum of 5-6 months, while a more complex or double-story custom home might take around 8 months. The construction schedule is detailed in your contract and is managed efficiently to ensure the finished home meets your expectations and our standard of quality.

The agreed price in your contract will remain constant unless you exceed a provisional sum allocated for a specific item, or you opt for an upgrade on a selection item, which may lead to additional costs. Any price change will be communicated to you, and we will not proceed with any additional cost-incurring changes without your electronic consent through our online project management system.

Yes, there are some initial costs involved before the commencement of your build. The extent of these costs will depend largely on the stage at which you engage Lancaster Homes to work on your project.

If we are starting from scratch, there will be a modest fee of $800 for your initial design concept and estimate. As we progress, additional fees of approximately $10,000 will be incurred for preliminary plans, engineering, soil tests, and other essential elements to facilitate the production of a comprehensive fixed-price quotation.
